Foot/Ankle
Dorsal night splint for plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis or tight calves:
This is a great product to help with calf tightness and people that may have calf cramps at night.  It is low profile so it allows you to sleep without a big bulky brace that gets in the way.  We typically sleep with our feet pointed so by stretching the calves all night long slowly, it can help take the stress and strain off the Achilles and/or the bottom of the foot.

A lot of people have flat feet and may need arch supports but the custom or plastic arch supports are too painful. We have found that this is a great alternative because it does not irritate the arch because of the cushioning yet it still allows it to assist and lift the arch.

Toe spacers for bunion and alignment issues:
There is some controversy behind toe spacers but I have found them clinicially very helpful for many patients who struggle from bunion pain or toe alignment issue. We recommend that you start off wearing them at night to see how you tolerance is to the change in position and then you can slowly transition into wearing them in the day. Not all bunions like toe spacer because of the forced shifting but for some it can be immediate relief.

Alternative to Yoga toes:
This product has been gaining press about correcting foot problems and a lot of patients ask about them. So we have included a less expensive option that had the same effect. Essentially, Yoga Toes help by gently spreading the toes and allowing the muscle to stretch. They recommend 10 minutes a day and many patients feel the difference immediately.

Tacco arch supports: arch support only narrow shoes
This is a great product for people who need arch supports but hate the full arch support because they take up too much room in their shoes. They can be moved from shoe to shoe and you place them in your arch support where they are secured by tape. They are specially effective for narrower shoes and/or heels for women.

Futuro Back brace for low back spasms and acute low back pain:
This is a great general back brace. The reason we like it so much is that it now only has extra support in the low back but it also acts like a corset. This is really important when your back is in spasm and you need to take some pressure off the spine to allow the spasms to relax. Although we don’t condone wearing back braces for extended periods of time, this one is very helpful during an acute episode.
